Silverscreens are pleased to introduce a 'Unique' matching lower extension to the 'Para-gon' foldable screens .
Designed for the Fiat Ducato, Peugeot Boxer & Citroen Relay motorhomes from 2007-onwards, this separately insulated section attaches to, and underlaps the lower main part of the screen cover by using our existing sewn in fixings. This will then cover the bonnet and air vents giving you the user full control over whether or not to fit it, depending on weather conditions.
'Unique'' has been designed to address some of the problems which many owners of these vehicles have reported since 2007.
1: One of the main complaints reported has been water entering and pooling on the engine and gearbox tops.This is probably due to the windscreen trough getting clogged up with leaves and debris which often blocks the water outlet, allowing any water in the trough to spill over.
2: After a fall of snow, the trough at the base of the windscreen can fill up and freeze, making it sometimes impossible to open the bonnet until most of the snow has melted.
With the 'Unique' extension fitted any snow can be removed in seconds.
3: This range of vehicles have an air vents cut into the bonnet which can allow cold air to enter the cab area.
With the 'Unique' extension fitted None of the above should happen!
